December 7, 1941, was a day that would live in infamy and thrust the United States of America into the second World War. On Pearl Harbor Day this annual event will commemorate the 80th Anniversary World War II. Americans and people from all over the world gather to pay tribute to those whose service and sacrifice preserved freedom and liberty at home and abroad. The Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade is an important reminder of that fateful day at Pearl Harbor, while providing hope that from conflict and the devastation of war, peace and friendship can occur. 

 

On behalf of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade Committee, the State of Hawaii, and City of Honolulu we request of the honor of once again having your group join us  in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade.  We consider it a privilege to have worked with your group in the past, and we would love to have you back in 2025 or 2026. Your group represents the Spirit of America and good citizenship. Please accept our commendation for your efforts in developing and continuing a rich tradition of excellence and achievement.

Highlights of the event will include:

• Visit and Performance at Pearl Harbor

• Opening Ceremony at Fort Derussy, including a mass choir and band performance led by the Marine Forces Pacific Band

• Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Waikiki

• Touring and activities in Waikiki and  across the island of Oahu, including the North Shore, Haleiwa town, Dole Plantation, and the Polynesian Cultural Center

• For Past Participants only -  One breakfast at the iconic Duke's Canoe Club on Waikiki Beach
